Our Story

When we were first married in 1995, we dreamed of having a big family. During those years of trying to have children we had collected information about international adoption. After years of infertility treatments, our boy/girl twins were born in 2000 and our second son was born in 2003. We were elated; however, we had never stopped talking about adopting. In December of 2008, we had contacted some adoption agencies and we were going to apply, but life was busy so we put the applications to the side. Some of our friends opened their lives to adopt children who were in need. Through their example of acting out their faith and through other circumstances which God had orchestrated, God opened our hearts to wanting to adopt a child. Many times over God has confirmed this to us. So in January 2010, we applied to adopt a little girl or boy from Ukraine.
